Unutulmaması gereken gerçek, bir şeyi yapması zor, yıkmasının ise kolay olmasıdır. Bu kadar her şey  hayatta birbirimize yetecek kadarken yaşanan yıkımlar ve kayıplar doyumsuzluğu ve edindiğimiz diğer put çekişmelerinin göstergesidir.

Olympia adlı Halep’teki restoran, facebook hesabında savaştan önce ve sonra fotoğraflarla nasıl şehrin siluetinin değiştiğini göstermektedir. Bir zamanlar turistlerin gezindiği çarşılar harabe olmuş, diğer yandan caddelerde taş üstünde taş kalmamıştır. AVM’ler katlı mezarlık gibi olmuşken, havuzların ise o eski süsünden eser yoktur.

Bir şeyleri yitirmeden değerini bilmek gerek. İnsanları kaybetmeden, çocuklar ölmeden, tarihi yok etmeden, yaşanmayacak bir hayatı yaşatmaya sebep olmadan. Gelecekte dünü arar olmayalım, o yüzden güzel şeyler için adım atalım, başlamak yorun yarısı, bir yerden başlayalım.
