“Dünyanın diğer yarısında ay ışığını gördükten sonra ben eski ben değilim.” demiş Mary Anne Radmacher.Bilindiği üzere bu bölge Danimarka, İsveç, Finlandiya, Norveç ve İzlanda gibi beş ülkeden oluşuyor. Sizlere bu sefer İskandinavya’ya dair kısa notlarımı İzlanda hariç paylaşmak istiyorum.
Danimarka’ya Copenhag’a gidiyorum. İsveç ve Norveç karışımı bir dil Dan’ca konuşuyorlar. Şehir İstanbul’un bir ilçesinden biraz fazla nüfusa sahip. İnsanlarına baktığınızda gerçekten mutlu olduklarını hissediyorsunuz. 1416 yılında Kalmar Birliği ile hem İsveç hem de Norveç’inde aynı zamanda başkentiydi.
Şehrin benim için en can alıcı noktası Nyhavn Kanalının olduğu bölge. Burada benim gibi kanal turu yaparsanız rengarenk yapılarla süslenmiş şehri bir de başka açıdan görme şansını elde etmiş olursunuz. Bunun dışında Kopenhag’a gitmişken mutlaka ziyaret edilmesi gereken yerlerden biri Küçük Deniz Kızı Heykeli. Buraya giderken Michelangelo’nun David replikasını da yol üzerinde görebilirsiniz.
Aslında şehirde gezilecek çok fazla yer var ama bahsetmeden geçemeyeceğim bir başka nokta Christiana bölgesi. Bir grup hippinin terk edilmiş askeri barakalara 1971 yılında yerleşmesi sonucunda kurulmuş bu yer. Ayrıca AB’yi de kabul etmiyor bu bölge. Uyuşturucunun da kontrollü kullanıldığı bu bölgede fotoğraf çekmek de yasak aslında ama ben bir iki kare alabildim.
Sıra Finlandiya’ya Helsinki’ye geldi. Buraya aslında ulaşımı Tallinn üzerinden Cruise Feribotu ile sağlıyorum. Yaklaşık 2,5 saat süren ve konser ile geçen yolculuk sonrası şehre varıyorum. “Kuzey’in Beyaz Kenti” olarak bilinen bu şehirde 315 ada mevcuttur. Arkadaşım ile yaptığım konuşmada Finli’lerin soğuk gözükmesi ama aslında çok utangaç olmalarına bağlı olduğunu söyledi. Arkadaşım bana Finli’lerin davranışlarını anlatan eğlenceli şu linkte bulabileceğiniz Finnish Nightmare görsellerini gösterdi. Konuşurken aslında diğer İskandinav ülkelerinden farklı olduklarını ve izole kaldıklarını iletti ama ilginçtir aslında köklerinin biraz daha Macaristan ile bağlantılı olduklarını söyledi.
Şehirde turistik noktalar genel birbirine yakın. Senato tarafından kalkan tekneler ile 15 dk deniz yolculuk sonrası altı ada üzerinde konuşlanmış Suomenlinna Adası şehir merkezinden ulaşabileceğiniz gezilecek yerlerin başında bir yer. Uspenski Katedrali Batı Avrupa’nın en büyük kilisesidir. Kauppatori, Senato Meydanı ve Helsinki Meydanı’da başlıca gezilecek yerlerin başındadır.
Buraya kadar gelmişken bence muhakkak bir Fin Sauna tebrübesi edinmek de gerek diye düşünüyorum. Ben bu şansımı Allas Sea Pool’dan yana kullandım. Şehirin tam göbeğinde olan bu yer aynı zamanda Deniz ve yüzme havuzlarının yanyana buluştuğu bir konuma sahip. Saunaların kadın ve erkek ayrılması güzel bir şey çünkü Finliler saunayı genelde çıplak girmeyi tercih ediyor.
Bir sonraki rotam ise İsveç oluyor ve başkenti Stockholm’e varıyorum. Pek şehirlere karşı duygu beslemem ama bu sefer bir şehre aşık oldum diyebilirim. Aslında Florensa’nın Rönesans havası, Kudüs’ün çok kültürlü mozaik yapısı, Brugge’taki kanalların sevimliliği ve Lizbon’un Okyanus kıyısındaki özgünlüğü hepsi ayrı ayrı beni defalarca gitmemi sebep olacak hafızamda güzel izler bıraktı ama yaşamak için Stockholm beni hemen kendisine bağladı.
Bir şehir bu kadar naif, renkli, her köşesi estetik, sanat ve kültür kokan, gözünü çevirdiğiniz her yerde farklı şeyleri keşfedebileceğiniz güzellikte geldi. Önce fotoğraf çekmek ve ölümsüzleşetirmek istedim geçirdiğim vakti ama hiçbir şehirde bu kadar fotoğraf makinası ile haşır neşir olmayınca en son kapatıp sadece orayı yaşamak istedim. Çünkü benim için fotoğraf çekilecek değil yaşanması gereken bir şehir olduğuna karar verdim.
Gezilecek çok fazla yer var, yazım çok uzamaması için tek tek paylaşmayacağım. Gamla Stan, City Hall, Nobel Müzesi, Kütüphanesi, dar ve rengarenk sokakları benim hoşuma giden başlıca yerler ama çok fazlasını şehirde bulacağınızdan emin olun. Sanatı, mimarisi, refahı ve özgünlüğü ile beni derinden etkilediğini söyleyebilirim. Muhakkak görülmesini tavsiye ederim.
İskandinav ülkeleri başlığında aslında bu rotamın dışında daha önce gezmiş olduğum Norveç’i de eklemek istedim. Norveç’e gittiğim zaman Oslo şehrinde tek bulunabildim. Modern Opera binası, Karl Johans Gate Caddesi, Kraliyet Sarayı, Vigeland Heykel Parkı başlıca zevk aldığım noktalardandı.
Tren istasyonunun ön tarafında göçmen ve müslümanların yoğun yaşadıkları yerlerdir. Karl Johans Gate Caddesinin girişinde hediyelik eşya için sağdaki ilk dükkanlardan biri diğer birçok yere göre daha uygun. City Hall’e ücretsiz girebilir hatta toplantı salonlarını bile ziyaret edebilirsiniz. Doğa ile gelişmişliğin bir arada yaşadığı bu şehirde Modern Opera Binasının çatısını yürüyerek çıkmak ve şehri bir de buradan seyretmek yapılması gereken başlıca şeylerden biri.
Bu doğanın, refahın ve huzurun bir arada olduğu ülkeleri ziyaret etmek diğer birçok seyahatime göre daha maliyetli oldu. Şehre ulaşım ya da şehir içi ulaşım ücretleri de pahalı olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Yaz mevsimi gitmeme rağmen hava biraz serindi ama yine de yağışsız şansıma güneşli güzel bir döneme denk geldim. Benim için görülüp gezilmesi gereken yerlerin başında bir rota. Eminim gitmek isteyenler için neden buradaki insanların daha mutlu olduklarını ve yaşam standartlarının nasıl iyi olduğunu anlamaları için iyi bir gözlem edinme fırsatına sahip olunacaktır.
I’m going to Copenhagen, Denmark. They speak Danish as a mix of Swedish and Norwegian. Copenhagen has a slightly more population than a district of Istanbul. When you look at local people you feel really their happy. The city with the Kalmar Union in 1416 it was also the capital of both Sweden and Norway.
The most important point of the city for me is the area where Nyhavn Canal is located. If you do a canal tour like me, you will have the chance to see the city which is decorated with colorful buildings from another angle. Apart from that, one of the must-see places when you travel to Copenhagen is the Little Mermaid Statue. You can see Michelangelo’s David replica on the way.
In fact, there are too many places to visit in the city, but another point I cannot pass the Christiana region as others. It was founded as a result of a group of hippies settling in abandoned military barracks in 1971. In addition, this region does not accept the EU. It was Finland and Helsinki. I actually get here via Tallinn via Cruise Ferry. After a journey that lasts about 2.5 hours and concerts, I arrive in the city. Uspenski Cathedral is the largest church in Western Europe. Kauppatori is one of the main attractions in Senate Square and Helsinki Square.
By the way, I think it is necessary to get a Finnish Sauna experience from there. I took this chance for Allas Sea Pool. Located in the very heart of the city, this place also has a location where the sea and swimming pools meet side by side. It is a good thing that saunas separate men and women, because the Finns usually prefer to enter the sauna naked.
My next route is Sweden and I reach Stockholm, the capital city. I don’t have feelings for cities, but this time I could tell that I fell in love with a city. In fact, the Renaissance air of Florensa, the multicultural mosaic structure of Jerusalem, the sweetness of the canals in Brugge and the originality of Lisbon on the ocean shore all left me beautiful traces in my memory which would cause me to go many times, but Stockholm connected me immediately to live.
A city so naive, colorful, every corner of aesthetics, art and culture smelling, everywhere you turn your eyes to discover the beauty of different things remind. First I wanted to take pictures and immortalize the time I spent, but nowhere in my another trips never excited by the last time as much as this time, I just wanted to live there. I decided it was a city to live in because it wasn’t for me to only take pictures for short time.
There are so many places to visit, I will not share one by one so that the prolonging does not grow much. Gamla Stan, City Hall, Nobel Museum, Library, narrow and colorful streets are the main places I like but make sure you find much more in the city. I can say that it deeply influenced me with its art, architecture, prosperity and originality. I would definitely recommend here for visiting.
In the title of Scandinavian countries, in addition to this route, I also wanted to add Norway, which I had visited before. When I went to Norway, I was the only one in Oslo. The modern Opera house, Karl Johans Gate Street, the Royal Palace, the Vigeland Sculpture Park were the main pleasure spots.
In front of the train station are the places where immigrants and Muslims live. One of the first shops on the right for souvenirs at the entrance of Karl Johans Gate Street is more convenient than many other places. You can enter the City Hall free of charge or even visit the meeting rooms. In this city where nature and sophistication live together, walking out the roof of the Modern Opera House and watching the city from here is one of the main things to do.
Visiting countries where nature, prosperity and peace are together has cost more than many other my travels. I would say that the transportation to the city center or the transportation to the city from airport is also expensive. Even though I went in summer, the weather was a bit cool, but I came across a beautiful sunny period. For me, it is a route that should be seen and visited. I’m sure those who want to go will have the opportunity to get a good observation to understand why people here are happier and how their living standards are good.
